Build records for a domain
Fill in a domain and mail servers to generate a complete SPF record, then add a DMARC report address to get a publish-ready DMARC record.
FAQ
What exactly does this output?
A table of DNS records to publish: an SPF TXT record for the domain, a DMARC TXT record for _dmarc, and optionally a DKIM record. Each row shows the host, record type and the exact value to paste.
How do I publish these records?
Log in to your DNS provider, add the shown TXT records for the exact host names in the table (e.g. the DMARC record goes on _dmarc.yourdomain.com), and save. Propagation can take from minutes to 48 hours.
Which DMARC policy should I choose?
Start with “none” to monitor without breaking delivery, then move to quarantine, and finally to reject once you’re confident all legit senders pass. Reject gives the strongest anti-spoofing.
What is the DKIM field for?
If your mail provider gives you a DKIM public key, paste it here to generate the matching DNS record. DKIM signs outgoing mail so receivers can verify it wasn’t forged.
