DNS

DNS Lookup

Query DNS records (A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME, SOA, CAA, PTR) for any domain via encrypted DNS-over-HTTPS, right from your browser. No server of ours touches the query.

Look up address records

Query the A (address) records for example.com and see every IP the domain resolves to, plus the TTL.

Requires an internet connection. The query goes straight from your browser to Cloudflare’s DNS-over-HTTPS endpoint.

FAQ

What records can I check here?

A/AAAA (addresses), CNAME, MX (mail), TXT (verification, SPF/DKIM DNS records), NS, SOA, PTR, CAA and SRV. Pick the type from the dropdown.

How does this work?

It sends an encrypted DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) query from your browser directly to Cloudflare’s resolver. Your query doesn’t pass through this site’s servers.

Why do TXT and MX matter for email?

MX records tell mail servers where to deliver, and TXT records carry SPF, DKIM and DMARC policy that receivers use to judge whether your email is legitimate.

What is TTL?

Time To Live — how many seconds a resolver is allowed to cache an answer before asking again. Lower TTLs make record changes propagate faster.
